The time tested and accepted ROOTS meter with its permanent accuracy employs the rotary positive displacement principle. No direct means of support is required. It has an onboard meter verification capability and is ideal for extreme high temperatures and has minimal pressure drop. Furthermore a direct measure of the density of the fluid along the path of the ultrasonic beam.
